What the price covers

One way, a day on site or a return: the arrangement confirmed with the price

No two long-distance requests are quite alike: you may want to settle in Deauville for a few days, or spend the day in Champagne and sleep in Paris that night. The exact arrangement, one way, waiting on site or a same-day return, is therefore confirmed with your price request, before you book. Just tell us whether you are coming back the same day, and at what time.

Whatever the arrangement, the price we confirm is fixed and includes the following:

  • Fixed price confirmed before the ride, unchanged at any hour
  • Age-appropriate child seat fitted by the driver, at no extra cost
  • 60 minutes of free waiting time at airports, 30 at railway stations, 15 elsewhere
  • Flight and train tracking: pick-up time follows any delay
  • Meet and greet with a name board
  • Tolls and parking included
  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pick-up

Not included: a stop on the way or an extra address that was not in your request, and admission to the places you visit (wine cellars, châteaux, museums).

Train or a car with a driver to leave Paris?

The train is still a good choice for one person travelling light. But it leaves from a particular station, Saint-Lazare for Normandy, Gare de l'Est for Champagne, Gare de Lyon for Burgundy, and arrives at another station, often a long way from where you are actually going. You have to cross Paris with your luggage, then find a car at the other end.

With a driver, you leave from your own front door and arrive at the door of your hotel, the wine house or the château. From three or four travellers, or with children and suitcases, one price for the whole car replaces a stack of individual tickets. We do not quote train fares: they change with the date and we have no official figures to give you.

7-seat van

The V-Class van for long trips in a group

Over several hours on the road, space matters: the V-Class van carries 7 passengers and 7 bags, with child seats fitted. It is a guaranteed Mercedes V-Class, never another model passed off as equivalent; see the page about the 7-seater van with a driver in Paris.

For a day with several stops around Île-de-France rather than one distant destination, hiring a driver by the hour suits you better. Travel agencies and concierge services: see our page on transfers for travel agencies.

Long-distance rides with a driver: frequently asked questions

Paris to Reims with a private driver: what is the price?

Paris → Reims or Épernay, for the whole car rather than per passenger, VAT included: E-Class sedan €429, V-Class van with 7 seats €499, S-Class €699.

Does the price cover one way or a return trip?

The exact arrangement, one way, waiting on site or a same-day return, is confirmed with your price request, before you book anything. So tell us in your request whether you are staying on or coming back to Paris the same day.

How long does it take to drive from Paris to Deauville?

The route planner gives 192 to 208 km and 2 h 13 to 3 h 04 on the road via the A13, without traffic jams. That is an indication, not a guaranteed time: traffic can make it longer.

Are motorway tolls included?

Yes. Motorway tolls and parking are included in the fixed price: nothing is added when you arrive.

Can we stop on the way?

Yes, if the stop is planned: mention it in your request (a lunch break, a second passenger to collect, a visit) and the price we confirm will allow for it. An unplanned stop added on the way is not included.

What about a destination that is not on the list?

It is priced on request: give us the pick-up address, the destination, the date and the number of passengers, and we reply with a fixed price.

Is a child seat included on a long trip?

Yes. Tell us each child's age: the driver brings a suitable seat and fits it before you set off, at no extra cost, whatever the distance.

Can I cancel a long-distance ride?

Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before the pick-up time.
