Infant carrier, rear-facing
From birth until at least 15 months and 83 cm, the child travels facing backwards.
Landing at Charles de Gaulle with two children, a pushchair and four suitcases, then heading into Paris or out to Disneyland: this is the journey the service was built around. Each child's seat is supplied and fitted by the driver, the van is a guaranteed V-Class, and the price you are quoted covers everything.

In France, from birth to the age of 10, a child in a car must sit in a restraint suited to their age, height and weight. The driver is responsible for making sure every passenger under 18 is strapped in, by an approved child seat or by the seat belt. Once a child turns 10, the seat belt is enough, as for an adult. Under-10s sit in the back, apart from three exceptions set out in the French Highway Code, and a child under 3 may never travel on a seat without a belt. Breaking these rules is a 4th-class offence.
Article R412-2 of the Highway Code exempts children carried in a taxi or on public transport from the child-seat rule; the text says nothing about chauffeur-driven cars booked in advance. We draw no conclusion on your behalf: with us, every child under 10 gets a seat, every time.
From birth until at least 15 months and 83 cm, the child travels facing backwards.
Once past 15 months and 83 cm, within the height range marked on the seat.
Not before 1 metre, and up to age 10: it lifts the child so the car's belt sits in the right place.
Two standards are in use. R129, also called i-Size, classifies seats by the child's height, and the approved range is printed on every seat. It adds a side-impact test, toughens the frontal-impact test and makes Isofix fixing the rule; Isofix anchor points have been fitted to all new cars since 2011. The older R44 standard grouped seats by weight, from group 0 (under 10 kg) to group III (22 to 36 kg); since 1 September 2024 these seats can no longer be sold, but they may still be used.
The seats we use meet the current standard: approved seats, Isofix or booster depending on age. We provide a suitable seat for each child named in your request, up to the number of seats in the vehicle. Who fits it? The driver, before you get in, in the right position. All we ask is each child's age, plus height or weight for the little ones, in your price request.
For comparison: in the offers we read on 12 October 2026, Booking.com provided a free seat for under-11s, Hoppa gave the first seat free, others said "on request" with no price, and Uber did not guarantee one. None of the services we read stated the seat's standard, the age it covers or who fits it. For Uber specifically, see our question on Uber with a baby in Paris.
The rule is simple: one person per seat, babies included. A family of five will not fit in a three-passenger sedan; it needs a van. Ours is a Mercedes V-Class, with 7 passenger seats and room for 7 bags, and the model is guaranteed when you book. In the van offers we checked on 12 October 2026, the vehicle was sold as "V-Class or similar", which leaves the door open to another model, narrower or with less boot space.
The van also suits families of three or four who travel heavy: a double pushchair, a travel cot and a fortnight's worth of suitcases will not always go in a sedan's boot. The vehicle is described on our 7-seater van with driver in Paris page.
| Vehicle | Passengers | Bags | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| E-Class sedan | 3 | 3 | one parent and two children, or two parents and one child, travelling light |
| V-Class van (guaranteed) | 7 | 7 | families of four to seven, with pushchair and suitcases |
Mention the pushchair, travel cot or any bulky kit in your request so that the vehicle we suggest allows for it. If it is borderline between the two cars, we tell you before we fix the price, not on the pavement when the driver arrives.
One price per car, not per traveller: one more child does not change the total, up to the number of seats in the vehicle. On the sites we read on 12 October 2026, none showed an all-in family price up front, seats and luggage included, apart from the group fares of a shared coach. Ours includes everything listed below.

The S-Class appears in the table for those who want it. Railway stations, day hire and long distance: all private driver prices.
With children, getting off the plane takes a while: passports, bags, and the pushchair that is always last on the belt. We track the flight by its number, and the 60 minutes of free waiting run from your real landing time. The driver waits in arrivals with a board showing the family's name, the seats already fitted in the car. Terminal details are on our CDG ↔ Paris transfer and Orly ↔ Paris transfer pages.
Families of six or seven often wonder whether two taxis would be cheaper. On the official flat fare to the Right Bank, two taxis cost €112, or €126 if booked ahead, and a taxi also charges €5.50 per passenger from the fifth. The V-Class van is €125 for the whole family, in one car, seats included. The full sums are in our question one van or two taxis at CDG.
The motorway to Disneyland Paris is toll-free, from Paris and from the airports alike, and the car leaves you at your hotel door, with no shuttle bus from Chessy station. From Paris, one way costs €155 by van and a return day trip €279: everything is on our Paris ↔ Disneyland transfer page.
Coming off a flight, the most direct option is our private 7-seat van from CDG to Disneyland, at €155. If you are weighing it up against the shared shuttle, we have done the family sums on the shared shuttle or private van page: for one or two people, the shuttle is cheaper, and we say so. For another park, Parc Astérix also has its own fixed-price ride from Paris.
The price is the same at 6 in the morning as at midnight. That is not the rule everywhere: at Welcome Pickups, CDG → Paris by sedan goes from €63 by day to €73 at night (checked on 12 October 2026). A delayed flight costs you nothing, because the pick-up follows your landing. And if the trip falls through, cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the planned time.
These commitments are written down, together with the ones we refuse to make, on our guarantees and promises page.
Yes. It is part of the fixed price, like the free waiting time and the tolls, and there is no charge per seat: a suitable seat for each child named in your request, up to the number of seats in the vehicle, and the amount is still the price of the vehicle.
The driver does, before you reach the car. You have nothing to install yourself; you are welcome to check the harness or belt once your child is sitting down.
Each child's age, and for the youngest their height or weight if you know it: that is what decides between an infant carrier, a child seat and a booster. You give these details in your price request.
From birth to age 10, a child travels in a restraint suited to their age, height and weight. After that, they wear the seat belt like an adult.
No. The E-Class sedan takes 3 passengers. You need the V-Class van, which carries up to 7 passengers and 7 bags; every child, babies included, takes a seat.
No. The price is the same at any hour. We track the flight, and the free waiting time at the airport (60 minutes) follows your real landing time.
Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before the pick-up time.
Tell us the trip, the date, how many of you are travelling and each child's age: we will come back to you with a fixed price, seats included.
