Beauvais to Paris as a family: shuttle bus or private van?

For 2 adults and 3 children aged 4 to 11, the official Aérobus shuttle costs €65.50 one way online (€17.90 per adult, €9.90 per child) and €90 bought on site (€18 per person), to Paris Porte Maillot, in 1 h 15 at the least.
The private 7-seat van costs €275 for the whole family, from the airport to the address. The shuttle is far cheaper; the van buys door-to-door travel and a time set by your flight.

Beauvais is 89 km from Paris. The A01 shuttle links the airport to Paris Porte Maillot in 1 h 15 at the least, depending on traffic. Its online fares: adult €17.90 one way and €29.90 return; child aged 4 to 11 €9.90 and €19.90; free from 0 to 3. Bought on site, it costs €18 one way and €35 return, adult or child aged 4 to 11 alike.

Timetable, drop-off point and taxi
The shuttle leaves about 20 minutes after landing, between 7:30 am and 11:30 pm, and the last ones wait for the last flights, even when late. It drops you at Porte Maillot, where the connection to your address remains. In the other direction, the airport advises taking it 3 h 30 before the flight from Porte Maillot; departures run from 3 am to 7:30 pm.
A taxi, according to the airport, costs about €185 by day and €230 at night between Beauvais and Paris, in 1 h to 1 h 30. There is no official flat fare for Beauvais: the meter decides, tolls and parking are added on receipt, and a €3 surcharge per adult applies from the fifth.
Five travellers, a late landing, 89 km
Beauvais is the airport farthest from Paris of the three: the gap between shuttle and van is read in time and comfort as much as in euros. For a family, the shuttle remains a serious option as long as its timetable matches the flight, the suitcases stay light and the connection at Porte Maillot is not a burden.
A flight that lands late with tired children changes the sum: the van tracks your flight, waits 60 minutes from landing, fits the child seats and drops you at the door.
